www.extremecycleradio.com $289.00 best radio out of 5 I've tried. This one is all about sound open bar or behind windshield. This is perfect and is clear even at 90 mph for the two times I rode that fast. I'm positive you won't be disappointed!
FM, MP3, USB, auxiliary port, sim card, it's a complete package, and Tom the owner stands behind his product and I do too.

There are plenty of good speaker setups out there, but don't go chasing them too hard. Speakers work by moving air. These speakers are small, so they can't move much air, but they have to fight with the wind and all the noise of a motorcycle. The only way to get really loud audio is with a fairing, big speakers and an amp. BUT, you CAN get decent audio out of small speakers, just don't expect incredible volume or bass, otherwise you'll be disappointed.
Just a heads up! I have a handlebar system too and I like it, it's the shark one (cheapie), you can hear it up to about 65-70.

I got the ones from Uniq Cycle Sounds and they work great. Don't have either my iPod or the amp maxed out and it sounds fine up towards 75mph...after that everything just gets too loud, so things can get drowned out.
I bought the pyle plmca60 300 watts x 2. speakers are small and look real good on my bars. amp fit in the tool compartment of v2k classic lt. sound is great up to 75 - 80 mph. not much bass. i was very pleasantly surprised with this system.
Not really, it fits in a windshield bag, or saddlebag nicely. Only the size of a paperback book, but thinner. Pictures on site make it look big is all.
