Air filter question Oval K&N

I have a 1987 1500A. I am about to order K&N filters for it. I think I have researched to much in finding the correct filter.

Does anyone know which number filter it is for my bike? The pictures make the filter look round but I have seen oval ones. Will the round ones fit in the oval air box?
