New Rider

Hi there. I'm a new rider from Orlando, FL. I've had my license all of 4 weeks and so far I love it.

I went shopping for bikes with a friend and initially considered a used V Star Custom 650. Then I later sat on a Vulcan 500 and loved it. I *knew* at that moment that it was the bike for me. But not at the price that dealer wanted for it.

I later tracked down a 2009 with only 1400 miles and as of Saturday she is now mine. Though she is my first she'll be with me for a while.

I like to tinker so I'm looking forward to reading about working on my bike on this forum. Let the journey begin!
