I've just bought an '09 Classic LT 2K. I've had a 1600 Classic so not much different on certain things, but yet there's a WORLD of difference on other things. I cannot, for the F'ing life of me, figure out HOW to check the fluid level for the radiator. I've found the reserve tank, and the side tube, but I cannot believe that that's the tube to check. Afraid to dump too much in there for fear it'll overflow and cause even more trouble. Also, it has an FI200 Cobra processor. I'm having a helluva time getting that into sync also. I've plugged up my 2 air valves from and into the air cleaner, and that has seemed to help somewhat on the back-lash. But it still pops and backfires on decel and also during shifts. I don't mind too much but this seems a bit to the extreme. I've got the pots set at 3 5 0 which is default. I bought the bike with a Cobra 2 into 1 exhaust and no air intake mod. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yup, and the popping? Well, be sure the pipe flange nuts are tight and that's about it. Mine pops a lot too if I let it but by management of the throttle the loud pops are quite avoidable without a fuel box.
My coolant sight tube has been useless since day one, I just use a thin piece of rubber tubing and use that to check the fluid level in the coolant tank - works great. Don't worry if you overfill a little bit, the overflow tank cap is designed to let some out if necessary and there is also an overflow drain tube. The rad cap is under the tank and you have to remove the tank to get to it - kind of a pain. In regards to the fuel processor, etc. sorry I can't help mine has stock intake with just a K & N air filter.

I have a 09 lt also and have changed pipes (3" hk) and have some popping on decel, after checking all the fixables it still does it not real bad but...I am not overly happy with the pipes and am thinking bout putting the stocks back on but the wife likes the loud pipes so.....time will tell
Plugging the top of my cylinders removed most the pop on decal , then setting the values to zero at 0 throttle on my PCIII map took care of the rest. Now it sounds perfect. I would recommend finding one for cheap on ebay or Craigslist.
Hey Mike, if you are at 3-5-0 with your Fi2000r and have stock air chances are really good that you're running too rich. Do like I did and pull a plug then you will know. I have the Cobra 2/1 HP Powerpro exhaust as well. Some of that popping is just the character of that exhaust system. You can disconnect the fuel chip and run fine without it.
