Just bought a 90 model Vulcan, less than 4 k miles and very good condition paint etc., dead battery, no manual how do you remove the seat? Odd that the only thing broken is the left foot perch, no signs of a crash or lay down- I know the carbs will need cleaning and the clutch is not disengaging.
Thanks for any help and tips where to get a manual.

Kawasaki's web site is awesome for that reason. They have digital owners manuals that are free also they have parts diagrams that are free also. It is not step by step institutions but it will show ya how everything goes together.

Old saddle bags covered the key release switch for the seat removal, positive battery terminal loose, now charging.
Thanks for the help, will post progress, old sinner
Hey thanks Blaine, that manual is available on E Bay for 9 bucks. I know I will need more advice from you guys, I am kinda shade tree- Also found the air cleaner saturated with gas, a small puddle in the box. Carbs filling up and dumping? Oil is clean, battery now charged, I plan to remove tank and try to determine the compression, also drain tank and check for crap-
Thanks again for the help,

Yep.Sounds like the needles are sticking in the carbs. They will likely need to come off for a cleaning/rebuild.
