I got the good and the bad with a full Metz 880 swap from Dunlop stockers. 200 rear fixed the speedo issues and lowered the rpms some but the front 90/90 barely clears and I have a bit of rubbing.
Can anyone tell me whether I can safely remove the front fender for adjustment or fabrication of a bracket with the bike on the kickstand? I don't have a lift or jack and don't want to have to pay someone.

Yes, the front fender comes off fine with the bike on the kickstand.

Great to hear! Any suggestions on the easiest method for raising the fender up a bit?
aluminum flat stock available at any hardware store. cut drill to what you want. Then sand wet sand up to 2000-3000 then polish will shine like chrome. Or you can paint them black, if you paint them thin steel would work as well. Make sure it isn't just misaligned first seems alot of out bikes come with the fender a bit crooked. Mine did I loosed and adjusted.

When i changed my front tire to a Metz MH 90/21 the tire ran real close to the fender in the front. I removed the finder and took a rat tail file and elongated the front two holes in the mounting brackets to allow the front of the fender to be raised. It worked out real good. Hope this helps.
