Comanche,

Colorado does not use road salt. They use Mag Chloride.

Doesn't matter because I never rode it during wet, snow, icy conditions. I also do not like to ride in cold conditions so it was in hibernation except for the Toys for Tots Christmas ride each year and those days had dry conditions.

So to answer your question directly, no, there is no damage from salt.

This bike is in perfect condition. No scratches, dents, dings, marks, etc... There might be a gnat somewhere I wasn't able to get to though......HA!

Yes, I bought a brand new 2010 VN 900 Clasic LT. I think the extras and what you say about condition probably make yours a better deal. So, I should sell my bike for $ 6,000 and buy yours?
