Question Brights ON, Brights OFF?

I am interested in the thoughts of forum members, because I have gotten conflicting opinions on this subject.

Do you recommend HIGH Beams ON while daylight riding?

My 1st impression: If it can make me & my bike more visable while riding during daylight hours, why not? So I recently started doing this.

Anyone else? If not, why not?

I am pretty sure in most if not all states running with your high beams on is illegal with other traffic around.

I have been doing this as well lately for the same reasons you gave. From what I understand some members here do a HID conversion with no Hi beam option. Basically it's like leaving the high beams on all the time and they report no issues with pissing off others. My stock high beam is not near as bright as a HID conversion.

Its actually in the michigan motorcycle handbook to ride with your highbeam on while riding in daylight. At night i use mine just like in the cage high unless vehicles are present

Only time I turn my off if I run up on a police car . I don't care if I piss cars off in the dark because they don't give a damn about pulling over on you . Brights get their attention and makes hard to pull over on you .

Your light bar only works with low beam? I did not know that was a state law, in fact when I took the safety course in NC they said to run your hi beam during the day. I keep it on ALL the time and I live in your state and have NEVER had a problem.
