I noticed Wally World is selling a filter for our Vulcans. They are something like 8 bucks. Anyone use one yet? I can't remember the brand. Supertech maybe? Thoughts?

My thought is that I would be very uncomfortable putting a Walley World Super Tech filter on my VV.

SuperTech ST7317
everone say stay away from Fram cuz they'r full of kardboard
Yes, I stay away from fram. We used to have a Fram manufacturing facility where I live and people that worked there said they had more product failures than ones that pass. I may try the Supertech on my next oil change.
I use Wix 51358 oil filters and believe they can be used on all Vulcans and are top quality filters, the Wix also goes by the name NAPA1358 I think, same filter made by Wix from North Carolina.
For as seldom as you have to buy a filter i would suggest avoiding any parts from Walmart. Pay the extra few bucks for something better. Just my opinion...
Hi Ponch,
I've been burned too many times buying things other than groceries from Wally World. As far as filters, if you've had no problems then I would keep getting them there. Just saying, I know how Walmart squeezes major manufactures ( Levis, General Electric etc) into putting their names on products that aren't up to standards so I am always hesitant to buy from them but I guess that's another topic for another forum lol...hope all is well, ride safe!
