I kinda did. I installed the Kisan SM-3 which turns the rear turners into running lights as well. Changed to red lens making 3 taillights and 3 brakelights. I think I got it for $80 used on Ebay.

I also used the Kisan SM-3. Gives more visibility, flashing brake lights, and automatic turn signal cancellation. You also can turn on four way flashers or parade mode.

I bought the Contours LED License Plate Holder. It's a chrome frame with red light on the top and amber on each side. The amber lamps connect to the turn signal circuit and the red becomes a second tail light. Everything is included for an easy installation.
Installation is not that but you have to track down each rear turn signal and brake wire to tap into them. Mostly plug and play. You have the option of 10, 20, or 30 second time out for the turn signal cancellation.
I also run the Kisan headlight modulator which is plug and play.

The unit comes with pretty decent instructions which I think you can access at the website before buying. Read through it to see how detailed you think it is. It replaces the OEM flasher under the seat. You have to splice 3 wires with the provided scotchlocks if you use all of the functions. Black to Green--White to White--Red to Blue. Most problem I had was with the springs you have to put in the turn signal switch. Use the foam ones and you'll probably have to trial and error on the length of them. Once thats figured, damn skippy you are good to go.
Like I said got mine cheaper on Ebay. Price is about the same everywhere else.

I have a 2009 Classic LT. The Kisan website says that you may have to go with the SM4. Has anyone out there installed this on an 09 and if so which model did you use?

I used to have the Kuryakn Triple Whammy but was told that the converted signal lights to brake lights were hard to see when signaling. I am getting another 900 tomorrow (totaled my last one in August) and these were recommended to me. Specifically the U32 kit.
