I started up my 03 mean streak today and let it run for about 15 min then it shut off on its on when I went to re start it all I get is a clicking noise fuel pump keeps coming on when I try to start it any help would be great thanks in advance
Oh it's ok I thought you had a similar problem. I hope it's something simple as well just spent 1400 on a new paint job and another 3k on chrome parts for it
Get your battery load tested. Most places that sell batteries can do that for you.
If that is not convenient, I can give you a quick and dirty test to perform at home. You will need a meter for that . If you do not have one, we can help you there too.
I had a battery go out suddenly on my Nomad. I couldn't even jump it off with it in the bike. This will happen when two cells short together and drop the voltage.
Have you checked all the voltage readings on the starter circuit from the battery through the starter solenoid then to the starter itself?
Check the voltage at each end of the cables.

Battery terminals are tight I will go and get the battery tested tomorrow thanks guys
