The most fun was the little 1972 Kaw 350 S2. The H1s and H2s thru the mid 70s were great but that 350 was the one that got the attention of the riders of the big cc bikes as it left them standing in the dust. How I ever survived my time on the H2 750s after all the performance mods is still a mystery.

Only S and H series Kaw riders understand the true meaning of Power Band.

I've owned 23 motorcycles since 1972. I've liked all but two of them. The one I hated the most was my first bike, a 1971 Jawa 350 2-stroke twin. That was a beast, crudely made and designed. The kick starter was on the left side and did double duty as both the kick starter and shift lever. (pattern was 1 up and 3 down--weird) Push in on the shift lever and rotate it to the rear and you have the kick starter. Second unfavorite was my '86 Suzuki Cavalcade. It was a beast, too--very heavy and poor handling, and it turned out to be a lemon.

Hard to say which one was my favorite, but my '05 GL1800 Gold Wing is probably the best candidate, followed closely by my '03 ST1300 and my VStrom. I guess I have to say that I enjoy the 900LT immensely, as well.

Just bought the Vaquero but loved my bike before that. 2008 M109R Suzuki. It had so much power. But will see what the Vaquero is like when it warms up outside.

I have a few bikes in my day. Top two bikes.. number my 09 9'er classic and number 2 81 GS850. In fact i still have that GS850. She is costing me lots of cash to keep it running. But it is a great bike.

Only owned 2. First was a '84 Yamaha 750 Virago. Sold it shortly after getting married and moving to England. Finally bought a '12 Vukcan 900 Classic SE, my current favorite.
