Got a screaming deal on one of the 2011 leftovers, paid a grand less in fact than the book value USED for the bike, so I rode a brand new bike off the lot and was ahead!

They tried to push it, AND tried to push the 2012's, but I reminded them they had some sitting here for two years and if they were gonna sell it, they had to sell it now. Starting to get cold, we could wait until the spring to buy.. there or somewhere else.. who knows. Funny how prices drop!
+1 on the new left over route. Nothing wrong with it. I got a new 08 V2K new back in April for 9K OTD with a few extras thrown in. I like to bargain with extras that you are going to buy anyway. Its a good way to get some stuff thrown in if you do not have the $$$ laying around to get them.

Agreed, I just said "well, its been here for 2 years, guess it can sit here for another 2." It was a great deal, I could not have touched an equivalent Harley for even double the money. We also bought my wife a brand new 2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50T as a late-season buy in November. Got that for $6000~ with 0 miles too. VERY nice bike, easy to ride, etc. I'm not sure I'd ever buy a bike other than in October - February now, after seeing just how cheap they go in the off season...
