The bike was built in 2005 and has been in storage state since that time.. Sent questions to dealer but they haven't answered yet
2005 tire! Would they be safe to ride?
Engine in storage state sine 2005. Hasn't been started in 7 years. has only been on display! Is just putting in all fluids enough to make this bike road worthy?
I would be real careful before bidding. A secondary verification would be worth investing in before commuting funds, and unless I know someone personally, no way I'm doing a wire transfer. Wire transfers are forever. Back to the bike. So you know there is no warranty at all, not even for road worthiness. At a minimum, I would figure in an engine teardown and total seal replacement, along with replacing every other rubber seal on the bike. May not need it, but expect it. And I would just outright replace the tires - why take the chance? It is beautiful, but not necessarily road-worthy - assuming you wasn't just planning on parking it in the middle of the living room as decoration!

I met Scott Britt at Bike Week a couple of years ago, strikes me as a strait shooter so if i was interested i would call him. They do build some really cool bikes.

I lived up the street from Britts the bike is legit. They are liquidating. So if you buy don't think a warranty will apply I was told they might be closing that actual store space
Well, the auction on ebay ended without anyone hitting the reserve. I emailed Scott Britt and asked him how much would he take for the bike.. He responded with "make an offer, has to be in the 20's!" I think I'll pass.
