The main question is how do you plan to use it.
I bought an 06 in May with 3,800 on it. Has over 8,000 now, and I didn't take a couple of planned long trips due to rain.
As the previous owner only went 500 a year, if you fall in that catagory, you are real good.
If you plan to do 10,000 a year, maybe not so much.....
The problem to look for/anticipate is the cam tensioner. Job is described on a few of the Kawi sites. If you are a moderate wrencher, it's a home job. This is also a job that needs to be done on other brands of MC as well.
We have a family lake house 2 hours away. I have to trailer the MC, as bride will not ride on it. I would certainly consider selling the trailer, and buying the MC you ask about.
