embroidering on leather

Anyone ever had patches or words embroidered on the leather??? Paid over 500 for the jacket and not sure if i am willing to take the risk

Hit up some reputable shops in your area and they usually will know someone who does EXCELLENT work.

I have a jacket with patches on it. They were, however, sewn on by the company that made the jacket for me. I supplied the patches. It was a custom measured and made jacket by Kushitani, in Japan. (their leather is thicker than what you get here in leather motorcycle jackets).

But for a jacket you really like that has no such work from the manufacturer, there are two options: get a place that has the machines and know how to sew leather, or do as KapKurt says and get a vest to wear over your jacket. Usually it is a denim vest at least for club badging purposes it is around here.
