If you decide to wrap the pipes get 50' of wrap. I used their calculator and it said like 25'. not including the cross over pipe. Got the exhaust manifold wrapped (barely) but not enough to do the cross over.

Let me know how that location works out for you. I have mine in the right side muffler pipe and I'm having a tough time getting AutoTune to work properly. It keeps pulling fuel from my map. It had one of my cells down to -50.
After spending a long time on the phone with a tech at Dynojet he is just as baffled as I am. The only theory he came up with was somehow the O2 sensor location is not getting a smooth air flow though I can't see how. I can't see how relocating the O2 bung closer to the crossover will change anything.

Thanks for the info still need to wrap my exhaust was wondering on amount to use. Auto tune seems like the way to go with mods. May have to upgrade to it when I do the intake system.
Thanks this information helps. Looking to seal my throttle body add a Thunder air kit, PCV, and wrapping the exhaust in Dec when I am home. I will have to have the bung welded on too. Going to keep the factory exhaust to make the wife happy.

did you gat to the bottom of your problem? I have a friend who has a 2009 1700 classic doing the same thing. He installed the o2 sensor in the cross over pipe where the standard o2 is on the Aussie bikes. We cannot get it to tune, it keeps leaning the mixture out and makes the bike almost unrideable.
Nope, auto tune is still pulling fuel from my map.
