I am glad Nascar #47 started this thread.
I know we hijacked it and got a little away from his initial query; but it has been thought provoking and informative.

It pressured me to start looking for the right firearm to carry while on my bike.
Today I purchased the Ruger LCP.
As I stated before; I like the 9mm more than the .380. But, as others have pointed out; 7 rounds in your pocket are better than 15 rounds in the safe.

Shoulder, depending on leather or nylon in my opinion galco for leather or blackhawk or bulldog for nylon

No, it is God's (natural) law that allows for this, from which all valid law originates. Any man-made law that violates God's law is invalid. The threat of prison has absolutely nothing to do with it. People have been unjustly imprisoned for millennia.
