These are custom made "Ultimate Baffles" that fit Vance and Hines pipes (4") on a 1600 Vulcan. These things sound fantastic and will give your Vulcan that H-D sound that everyone loves so much. I got nothing but compliments on how great my Nomad sounded with these. They are on the aggressive side and will be a bit louder than the stock V&H baffles, but if you like sounding a little on the Bad-Ass side....these are definitely for you!
I traded in my '08 Nomad for a 2012 Voyager and these will not fit the V&H slip-ons, so unfortunately, they must find a new set of pipes in which to reside. They have the "shower drain" end covers installed to add a little back-pressure. The shower drains that are on the baffles now have round holes rather than the square ones shown in the pics. The shower drain side goes into the pipe first. The best way to install or uninstall them is to use a pair of pliers to grab the 1/4" pin and simply push or pull them into place. When installing them, coat the outside edge with some anti-seize and you are good to go!
