I have had my ride for about a month and had the same concern. Listening to other VV owners, this is the area where it runs. Remember you have a large motor, but a limited amount of coolant. I have put over 2K miles on mine in 30 days and it has never overheated. You can try replacing the thermostat, but you are still under warranty.
Anyone have an easy solution to replace the stock turn signals with brighter LEDs? By using Kuryakyn parts I would have to spend about $100. Any better options?
does anyone get any weird sounds or feelings over certain bumps from their front end? Everything feels tight until I hit certain low speed bumps and I get an almost clanking sound, and I get some really bad wobble sometimes if I take my hands of the bars at speed. I know there is no damper like on a sport bike and riding with no hands isn't the best thing(I don't do it often or for long times) I'm just wondering if anyone else gets these vibes.
I've only had front end wobble twice and both times the front tire pressure was low. I run it at 42 PSI.

I would like to know what you guys are using to clean and protect your dash?
I have heard that Armour-all really isn't good for plastic in the long term. Is there any truth to that?
I'm sure it's been discussed; but searches turn up WAY too many other topics.

Not sure about Armour as well, when I am detailing my bike, I just clean the dash with the "Original Bike Spirits", it seems to work well on it for me and my bike as sit for hours in the very hot Texas sun as yours does, too.
Have used it since it was originally sold at all the Honda shops and then was rebranded when the propellant formula was changed, and now sold just at about any shop and online.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It has UV inhibitors in it. I use it on my car and bus headlights to keep them from fogging up from the sun. Works great.

Never tried it, but looks great, think I will buy some 303 Aerospace Quick Wipes to carry along in my saddlebags so I can wipe and clean the bike when riding overnight and/or cross country trips.
