There are some really good answers here, I had always heard from a Harley rider" yeah you ride yours and I'll wrench on mine". I really like the Harley peeing comment...

I joined a mostly Harley forum a little while back. Their tech section was HUGE! ***Guess it needs to be.....***

Well, when you been making pretty much the same bike forever I'm sure you can come up with lots things to bolt on, tweak, and tune.

When they start their crap and calling my bike a rice burner... I simply smile and say "at least I support American made". True statement, most vulcans are assembled in the US and most of HD are assembled in India. So much for our American icon.

False statment .. the only vulcans ever assembled in the usa was the vulcan 750 and some 800..... all the rest are made in japan !!!

Hmm not what I've read and heard. Not to say that I hear only the truth and no lies but correct me if I'm wrong. I have heard that the parts are made in Japan and I'm sure the motor and transmission is fully assembled there but the Vulcan Classic is not made into a bike there. They are finished in Lincoln, Nebraska.

nope no motorcycles assembled in the nabraska plant in years..... the make atv the teryx and jet skis...

Not from what this site says. It's gives a list of cruisers that are made there.
