Yeah, it's about 2 miles (in a cage) to the grocery or post office, but every time I go on the bike (for the wife, of course), the odometer shows another 15 or 20 miles added to it.............gotta check that out!
Bought the 500 LTD last November with 1700 miles on od, now it's sitting at almost 6000. Doing the valve clearance check today.

Original Owner of my 04 V2K, which I bought in March of 05 (left over model).
I've got.. umm... 9,056 miles on it.
But.. I didn't buy it to be a daily commuter.
I've worked for the same company for almost 13 years now. And during that time, I've put an average of 25k miles a year on my vehicle.

07 900 bought in Feb. 08 with 1384 mi. Put it "away" for the winter last week with 10,002.
Hope to do better in the future.......

I don't commute on mine. But we take vacations on it and ride it on most weekends.
