I know its not that cold in cali but where i work is close to the beach and in the early morning or late at night is really wet and cold.
so i bring out my shield and put it on only for the winter.
also got the saddle bags from mutazu to store some winter gears.
I moded the bag's tail lights with red LEDs by the way.
the shield blocked most of the cold wins and bring up the heat from the engin, its nice when its warm. Also my speakers dont get wet sitting inside of the shield with jet style opening view. just something to share.
Your bike is looking great these days. I just ordered a batwing fairing for mine and looking forward to some smoother wind.
Also, like the celtic cross on your jacket... ;0))
I was thinking about get the batwing but i already got the shield from my old bike. So might as well use it. My wife won't be happy if i get a new shield anyway.
But i do love the way batwing look. One day i say. One day.
Looking for couple new jobs with manager position so hopefuly i will have more money coming in. Than i can do more.

I can understand. I currently have a MS Speed Demon which for me works pretty well (added some home made lowers), but now that my wife is riding with me she asked if we could get more wind protection. Of course I suggested the batwing fairing.... And she said go for it...
About a month ago added a trunk/backrest from Mutazu and she really loves the comfort. So, after the batwing and funds available, will be looking at adding hard bags to finish off the look. Not how I started 18 months ago, but this bike has a great platform to build off in many directions.
