Hey Rick;
Welcome to the forum!
2011 and prior Voyagers do not have the KAMS kit stock; if you live in a warm climate, you may want to install it before next summer.
The KAMS corrects rider discomfort; but some owners seem to have bikes that run
unusually hot.
The air box is a pretty dumb design. It sucks the (hot) air from between the jugs and Kaw didn't finish the air fins so the few aftermarket options we have don't look very good.
The throttle by wire system has a bit of lag; but RacNRay has a mod that will correct that.
There have been a
small number of people on this forum who have had transmission issues with the 1700 engine. I will repeat; "a small number".
I think all issues were on 09/10 bikes. But, I haven't heard any complaints in a while.
I only have 3.5k on my VV; and I don't have
any serious complaints.

I would make the purchase again without hesitation.
16k isn't a lot of miles; but I would still try to learn what I could about its maintenance record; and look for any signs of damage.
