Here are a couple of pictures. I put a few more in a Photobucket album showing bothh sides and a closeup of how it fits against the KAMS. It works with KAMS but it is a tight fit and your range of adjustment is more limited on the left side. No problem if you don't have KAMS. Click the link below to see all the pics.
When you put your feet down you definitely know the pegs are there even when they are folded (see pics below). You can feel them at the back of your calf but they don't interfere. When extended you obviously don't have as much room so I tend to push my legs out to a wider stance at stop lights. I find I do that anyway with the little lady aboard because she tends to shift around a bit when stopped and I need the stability. I can see I will have to yell "feet, feet" when coming to a stop to remind her to take her feet off the pegs so I'll have room to put my feet down. Just another part of the bonding experience of two-up touring
Backing into a parking spot is different because you can feel the pegs against your calf, but you get the hang of it after doing it a couple of times. Extending the kickstand takes a little different motion with your left foot, but again, you get used to it and it has not been a problem. These are minor adjustments I will gladly make if it means a more enjoyable ride for my lady.
