air intake size?

I'm looking to upgrade my air intake, mostly because I'm tired of all the hoses that are hard to get to every time i take the tank off and want something more stream line. With that in mind, im wondering what the intake size is on my carb (vn800 classic). also when it comes to said hoses, how do I deal with them? just cap them off?

Most aftermarket kits come with plugs for anything that needs capped off and a breather for crankcase vent, google Russian Wolf if you want to do it yourself and save a bunch of $

hmm. im not seeing anything come up for Russian wolf. I've found a few air breathers I just cant translate my measurements to the metric system.

As far as measurements are you referring to the throttle body its 36mm on the carb

Multiply or divide by .03937 for conversions.

Try this, it takes you directly to the airfilter mod. You will need to go through a couple pages to get to the part about eliminating the hoses your talking about, but this is the begining. Worth reading. I did this on mine, was worth it.
