Turn signal stem

I bought a turn signal conversion kit for my wife's 900. I have taken the rear turn signal stems off but cannot figure out how to get the wires from the end of the stem into the signal housing. I have disassembled as far as I can without breaking something. HELP!

I put a LED kit in my rear that get siliconed on the lens. Tried several ways to get the wires out. No luck always cut them . In order to get assembly apart you have to take out the light socket. then you can take the stem off of the chrome housing. I ended up drilling a small hole in the bottom and runing my wires on bottom of stems. Black tape is nearly invisible on it. Good luck My wires where really small which helped.

I thought about doing that but wanted to avoid it. It looks like I have no choice.
