I'm a machinist by trade, so I'd also be interested in some specs. I think I could make these for nearly nothing if I knew some specifics on that angle...
I'd be interested. It seems that the "ledge" keeps everything in place better than just using 1/4" plate steel.

I'd be intertested if they could be done for a reasonable price. I'm hesitant about paying $120 for something that may not work because it bottoms out.
Hey, is anybody going to get these specs to bobpatterson.80? Come on smedlin, surely it is about time for you to pull yours out and have them chromed! anybody!

LOL. Trust me mate, if it was visible, it would be shiny
it's been in the 80's here. Went bar hopping this past weekend with the wife (on the bike).
It could be awhile before I'm ready to tear down the bike. (Cant' just simply take the seat off and measure. Would have to actually take the drop off the bike.)
Smed, isn't it time for you to pull that lowering link and get the specs to bobpatterson...
it was 28 degrees here this morning must be getting cold down in Houston!

Yea, it's been getting down into the upper 30's here. Which is freaking cold! But, being Texas, it's back up to about 70 in the afternoon.
I DID try taking the link off a few weeks ago. I was (again) moving stuff around on the bike, and wanted to access the space under the shock. But I couldn't get that bolt out. I had forgotten it was a pain to put on.
The link is not a square/rectangle. It has "bends" that allow it to snug onto the mount. You'd be better off ordering one, measuring it in person, then returning it.
Don't sweat it, brother. I went out today and unbolted my shock, lowered the bike 1-1/2" and calculated (aka guessed) the angle. Why only 1-1/2? Cause with a 205/60 I'm not sure 2" would clear after I sat down on it, much less 2 up. Anybody have any thoughts on that?
