1500 classic exhuast on a 1600 classic

There is a guy here in my town with a debaffled 07 1500 classic exhaust for sale for $75.. does anyone know if they will fit my 03 1600 classic without any or very minor modifications??

Take a look for yourself at the following OEM parts links so you can see that the mounting is all that seems cross-compatible but I'm sure you already know the pipes and guards are somewhat different. I don't have either type of bike and looks to me that if there are any mods to be done and you know how to do them right then they should work. I'm actually following a guy from Japan right now on here who is making duals from scratch. Mods as you know are almost always required whenever there are different models and different years involved on top of that. This seems evident just from the parts listings alone.

I am also uncertain as to the pipe diameters if they are the same or not. This will also be a factor to consider. Keep waiting for someone who has experience with your bike and that other model to get some better information. I am just merely trying to show you that $75 may not be such a good investment if you don't know how to cut, weld and mod out pipes because you can really do some damage to a bike if the exhaust isn't right.

Wish you success if you mod it though. I'd like to see your bike if you do mod them to fit it.
