I had a battery go out suddenly on my Nomad. I couldn't even jump it off with it in the bike. This will happen when two cells short together and drop the voltage.

My battery would not charge. As already suggested, take the battery to an auto parts store and they will test it for you for free.

Have you checked all the voltage readings on the starter circuit from the battery through the starter solenoid then to the starter itself?
Check the voltage at each end of the cables.

you never did say if you took the battery and had it tested. You might have a cell that went bad.

Take the spark plugs out then put it in gear and see if the bike still moves as the pistons will still be able to move up n down the cylinder.
