Welcome...what part of the Empire state? On your second 1500? Can you fill us in on that statement? What happened to the first? I ride a 1500 and am always interested in component failure or rebuilds!

Hey guys. I am on Long Island, and the reason it is my second 97 classic was there was quite a component failure; I crashed head-on into a Pontiac Sunfire! Some young girl (with no license) pulled out infront of me to merge into the oncoming traffic on my left but couldnt get in, so she just stopped dead in my lane! I showed her, smashed in her door real good! Her insurance company accepted 100% fault and totaled the bike. with the money, I replaced it with virtually the same ride.
