Ok I think I'm on sold on the idea. In reading the install instructions on Mean's site though it talks about carving away some of the underbelly of the seat for clearance
Best thing to do is install the link and just put the seat in place and see if there any restriction in it not leveling correctly.
If your not sure. Tape a thin piece of paper underneath the seat portion where the link sticks up and then place the seat in position and sit on the seat. Then lift it off and see if the paper had any contact and how much. Go from there.
And remember, that's the stock seat they are talking about.
What get's in the way (with the stock seat) is one of the rubber mount thingies on the bottom of the seat. It has to be removed, since the bike sits close to the battery now.
The mustang seat didn't have to be modified at all.
This bike scrapes in the corners already.
I sure wouldn't want to lower it.
Don't you guys go around corners where you live ?
JJ
Tell me about it. So far that is my only complaint with the V2K. I have played with the idea of maybe switching to pegs just to see if that will give me some more clearance.

Who would have thought I would grow up to become "Spatially Educated" and play Connect-the-Dots for a living.
So you change the steering geometry and drop the back end 2 inches.
Hmmm.
I already scrape the exhaust pipe on hard right hand turns.

Well some people just don't ride like that JJ. I prefer to enjoy my ride at my speed, at my leisure. Glad you enjoy scrapin stuff up. Scrape on bratha!
