Good idea, but I would be a little worried they would drag a bit earlier then without, when leaning hard into corners.I like thier Back support pad idea they have on thier web site.

I would image that the upward pitch of the floorboards would keep that from happening. Kury makes a similar product but it is quite a bit more expensive.
I would defiantly consider these as an option for highway pegs.
Speaking of scraping, how far do you have to lean the VV over to have that happen?

Ya Kury is ridiculous as far as price goes. they do look pretty nice though. Dont know how far I would haf to lean it but if I do, luckily the floorboards deflect a couple inches also. I really like the V2K Classic U got. Nice bike

Thanks, the reason I ask is I have been playing with the idea of a VV or a Vaq to add. The V2K is a nice bike but it is not hard to find the floorboards in the pavement.

This probably doesn't help much, but I had a Nomad 1600 that would regularly scrape the floorboards. I have yet to scrape the VV even in the roundabouts. However, just about every magazine review I've read on the VV complains about the ground clearance. I've never experienced a problem, but your mileage may vary.
