Hello from Sacramento

Hey all,

Back at the beginning of summer I sold my 2003 Suzuki Sv1000s and picked up a 2007 Vulcan 900 Classic. I have owned motorcycles continuously for about 20 years, but have never been a super avid rider. I always said I would never ride a cruiser, but now that I have one I am completely won over. In just a few months I have put nearly as many miles on the Vulcan as I did on the SV in 8 years. I do miss the power of the sport bike but I love the comfort of the Vulcan. I may upgrade to a larger displacement cruiser in the future, but for now I am psyched.

I already squeezed out whatever life was left in the OEM rear tire, so I am already planning on going dark side. Other near term mods I am planning include an air horn and Seawolf’s economy LED strip turn signal mod (be seen and heard).

Welcome aboard. Took you a few months to post up, guess you been lurking in the shadows and reading all this good info floating around this place. Enjoy the 9. I hear they are a good all around bike ya, jack of all trades but a master of non kind of thing.

Not really into the NBA, but if I were my loyalties would be with the Celtics. If you want hit me where it hurts you could bring up the Red Sox.
