You can make it work! If the screw holes don't line up than get some screws and make new holes. My Mustang pad was for my OEM backrest, but it sat a little higher than my OEM pad and it exposed the bottom cross member on the backrest. If you look at the pic you can see it at the bottom of the pad. But since then I moved it down and retapped new screws in it and got some screw caps from the local auto part store to cover the screw heads up. I cant remember where I ordered mine but I paid about $90 with studs.
