Took the old "88" for it's last ride of the season, 270 mi and it was supposed to be sunny but no, cloudy and it never got over 45F but we at least had some quality time together before an oil change, engine fog, and being banished to the shed for a long hard winter!
I will miss you, old girl, sleep well!

I'm just about where you are on storage but they say next weekend it will get near 60° with some rain in there too. I will wait one more week before storing.
Installed a Signal Dynamics Back Off XP brake light controller and headlight modulator. Then put it back together so I can hopefully ride a little Saturday. I need to get the gas tank low so I can pull tank to install a power point and change the coolant.

Just curious Mike: What are your plans for the Power point, music, cell charger, GPS, radar detector, or maybe heated gear? Are you planning on handlebar install? Mine is installed by the left side cover. Works fine with the rain cover.
Not exactly sure what all yet. I want to run a lead up near the gooseneck area where I can plug in a power outlet to run phone charger, or..... I also want to be able to plug a battery tender in and charge that way. I am thinking a handlebar mount for smartphone that I can take off easily.
Got my new hard bags from Mazuka today, and got them installed. Smaller than what I exspected, but do look nice. These are the LN bags. Didn't use the mounts that came with them. Had extra plastic left over from the lowers I made couple months ago, and use it to bolt between the fender supports and to the lower portion of the bags, let me get them tucked in close to the bike, I think for a cleaner install.
Took a great ride yesterday a bit cool but not cold. I stopped for coffee at the Lunch Box in Bellaire, and chilli at Animal's Road House in Kalkaska. Both are owned by bikers.
This was I thought may be the last ride of the season but next week looks like there may be a few more days, so I delayed winterizing a bit longer.
