Ok, you are trying to link to just a picture file name like picture.jpg. You do not have the host site in your attempt like http :// photobucket.com/ picture.jpg

Your pictures need to be hosted or storfed somewhere online at one of the various free sites like photobucket, Picasa, etc. More picture posting help in my signature.
