Have you thought about a set of drag bars and risers or apes. (Personally I like drag bars (that is one think I like about my meanie)
I've got the big bug light, so i can't do risers.
I actually like the position/pullback of the stockers. I'm a bit over 6'2 and have knuckles that drag the ground.
Last month I took the bars off and drilled them myself. Running the wires was a pain, but was worth it. Cleaned it up. I should have done that years ago.

Yeah I guess that don't work too well. It really looks better with the wires ran in the bars. I can see your dilemma. It looks like you have chormed or polished everything but the tires. The only thing I see missing is the brake reservoir.

sigh, even that's been done. When I ran the new brake lines back in Jan, I took the master cylinder off and sanded/polished it.
maybe Papa is right.. I'm just going thru withdrawal. Nothing left to really do.
Maybe it's time for a new project. Craigslist is chock full of opportunities for a few hundred that a guy could put a few thousand into. Found a 2K engine with all electrical and fuel components here for pennies on the dollar. Gotta figure out what to do with it.
Last time I was in Belgium, we met a guy who matted lower forks and rear half of front fender, he chromed front half of fender, cost a few bks, know how it sounds but it looked amazing and same model year as yours [2004]? but not as nice all round as yours---------
I'm thinking you'd be able to see more of the rims if you ut a set of rotors on that were more open in the center instead of the near solid ones that are on it right now. Just a thought but every bit of space you open up will make the wheel more visible. Of course, I'm not seeing too many that are a lot more open on a quick search....

I've seen a V2K with a nitro package.. but..naa.
Soo.. i've tapped out that area also.
Mybe its time to ride/enjoy/showoff the masterpiece you have created or find a V2K Classic and make a Tourer out of it. That way you have the best of both worlds.
