V&H Big Shot

Hi there guys!
Since last week I´m cruisin with my new Vance & Hines BigShot on my 1600 Classic and I really must say I´m deeply impressed. Nice deep sound telling my neighbours when I´m coming or going *g*
If one of you searches some Pipes, those are nice ones!

Hey Hak, would you say the big shots are loud or just deep rumble? I'm in the market and I'm not sure if I should go with the big shots or some cobra slash cuts.

I would say they are loud with a deep rumble
Of course there are louder ones, but not ´round this area where I am

Thinking about getting big shot on my 1700 classic LT. What fuel commander did you get?

The info that I've read in the past says that if you only add exhaust you dont need a fuel processor. OR if you only change the air intake you dont need a fuel processor. BUT, if you do BOTH of them then you need a fuel processor. Did I read incorrectly?

Totally confused.. I have never changed out an exhaust so now I wondering if I want to. I was told that if you change the stock to a full big shot or any other system you had to get a fuel commander...

When I had my 07 meanie I installed the V&H Big Shots without a PC, I wish I went a head and added it. As long as I did not let off the bike hard it did not pop and crack. But it did not take much to throw fire out of the tail pipes when it would pop.

Don't get me wrong. They sounded awesome, I do not know if the marble trick would have fixed it helped it. I did not know anything about it during the time I owned the bike so I did not try it. May want to research it a little more or see if anyone else responds. Obviously you know about the search tool since this thread is around 2.5 year old.
