Well understood oberuwe...to each his own. All the vulcans are very nice. They all share however the strange gear ratios compared to other rides. It's seems to be what makes them buzzy. Throw in the bigger engine and where that happens changes...along with weight, fuel economy, etc.

What you describe for the 900 is definitely normal but it's just the way it is...stock.

I'll second bosco. I did quite a few mods and recently both OD SW pulleys. Wow what a change. Simply amazing. I'll post results for anyone interested in my other running post.
