Default Any Ideas?

Does anyone know what I could cover this wiring with? I've tried to clean that brown discolor off but it wont. Its real annoying to look at.

Chrome split loom. With heat shrink you need to undo the wires and get them through. Split loom just snaps over in seconds.

Have you personally tried this stuff? Looks interesting. I have the exact same issue with the wiring covering on my 800.

The chrome cable coming out of my speakers is the chrome split loom that Ronmold is talking about. I even got it from the same online place he mentioned.

Was it easy to install? Does it look decent in person? This seems like it would solve my issue, and make the bike look way better. It's so annoying to have an appearance issue like that staring at you everytime you are riding.

The heat shrink is large enough to go over the plug ends.

I also used the chrome split wire loom, but got mine at O'Riely's auto parts store. Looks good.

Well the chrome split loom folks sure have an awesome and better idea, so do that. If I was just doing the KISS and just wanna get it done, I'd probably spray paint it black. Just sayin... Hell, sharpie might even come to the rescue here.

But if it really bugs, I am sure chrome loom would be far cooler looking.

At least you have your options.

Doesn't get much simpler or quicker than just snapping this stuff over the wire. But yes, I've done a lot of bike detailing with a Sharpie!

I've not used the chrome but lots of the black in various sizes.
