Hi again Roger. Thanks for replying to my earlier post about the fading engine emblems. I eventually solved the problem by replacing them with Vaquero emblems and so far no issues. I am requesting your input again though because I am currently attempting to change my fork oil and have gotten a lot of useful info from reading some of your posts about your experience doing the same. The main issue I am stuck on at the moment though is removing the top fork lids. My service manual gives absolutely no info or details of how to take them off. So far I have tried twisting and prying but to avail. Do you have any tips on how to remove them without breaking them?

Hi Roger. Earlier this week you had replied to my thread about the fading 1700 engine emblems and said you had actually removed yours completely. I am considering doing the same thing myself but was curious what they looked like. Do you happen to have any pics of your Nomad or air box covers without decals posted anywhere where me and other members could see them?
