    New to this forum.
    I currently have a Vstar950 tourer am looking into a new 2011 1700 Nomad.
    My problem is I am only 5' 6" and my current bike only weighs 650 and the Nomad weighs 850. I am simply not sure I can handle that big of a bike. I have not been able to test ride one, only just sit on it. It feels fine, but just not sure.
    It sure is a great looking bike and my wife likes the larger rear seat.
    Just looking for some advise, before I make my decision.
