That is exactly all the stuff I was looking at doing plus the throttle mod Raceray is touting. BTW tell me about the amp and speakers you upgraded to.

Hey King, The problems I had were mostly heat issues.These are still big twins and are expected to run warm. I solved a lot of issues with the following; I switched to Amsoil synthetic, added redline water wetter to the coolant. This helped. Next came the Tri-oval exhaust and cobra fuel mgmnt. This was where I noticed the biggest difference. The stock set up ran the bike lean and hot. I followed with the Thunder air kit to allow more air into the intake which removed all the stock filter assembly and also allowed more air circulation around the cylinders. This was a noticeable difference in throttle response.The bike now pulls stronger but at the expense of more engine noise. I'm used to it and after adding upgraded speakers and an amp to the sound system I don't really hear it any way. I am considering a different fuel manager from cobra. The power pro. but waiting on more feed back. The bike now runs cooler sounds better and is more enjoyable to ride.
