cruiserdon, when you get a chance take a look at my write up about my engine teardown i started. Seems i'm maybe on the wrong path with these springs.

Rode 300 desert miles yesterday. Had to wear a jacket in the morning, finished the ride in a t-shirt. Typical for April but want to get those desert rides in now. In a month all rides will be high country to escape the heat. In 3 months we'll be putting the bikes away for a couple of months...too hot to ride!
