    Ray,
I have a Kawasaki 500 LTD that has not been run in almost a year. When I started it yesterday I could get it to run only at lowest throtle with the choke fully on, and after 20 seconds of primer on then moving to fuel on position. when opening the throtle the engine would die. This bike only has 7k miles on it. Do the float bowl and floats get gunked up and stick like they do on lawnmower engines? BTW, I did put fresh no ethanol gas in the tank, and it was running perfectly when I put it in the barn almost a year ago.
    Thanks,
    Don

Ray, I have been spending some time on this forum to get an idea of the 1700 and it's possibilities. I ride a C14 but not new to HD and Victories. I have followed your progress with the V and you got my interest. More later if I take the plunge. My reason for contacting you is you complaints of your hip and a desire to let you know that all may not be lost. I have been doing massage for the last 20 years and there are modalities that could have the possibility of reversing your condition. One such modality is called Rolfing, after the late Ida Rolf. Deep myofascial release is another that frees up binding fascia to allow pain free movement. The biding occurs quickly or over time when damage to the connective tissue is bound or locked by the body's healing process entrapping surrounding tissue's and nerve structures. In most cases this can be reversed and painless free movement can be restored. It can be a somewhat painfull process but 'no pain no gain.'

Probably need to have dyno'd and new fuel processor, I have the cobra pro self tuner....

Ray when you did your custom air cleaner/intake on the right side, what did you do about the original air intake on left side, did you leave it alone or block it off.
