History
My second bike after starting to ride this past May 2012. First was a 1982 GS450.
Picked it up for $1500 because it was a bit cosmetically challenged.
So far, replaced the tank with a new OEM one, since the one on it was not original and badly needed a repaint and was leaking gas because the cap was not a correct fit. Definitely worth the cost.
Have cleaned up the carb, and replaced some weird ill fitting airfilter housing and filter with an OEM housing.
Found a used Mustang solo seat which is a major upgrade both in comfort and appearance.
It is running great now so I am looking to add a few items to make it a bit better, new pegs (probably Kuryakyn Switchblades), crash bar, grips. My goal really is to make a slightly sporty cruiser that will also be comfortable for longer rides.
