The Vulcan 500 is a parallel twin and the 800 is a V-twin. The carbs
come off the rear of the cyl. on the 500 where as the 800 comes from between the cyl.
I can get a picture of the air box for you but I don't think it will work for you.
Send me a e-mail to chfranklin@cfl.rr.com if you need the picture.

Thanks for help with that shift linkage. It got here quick so I should be back on the road this weekend.

Few problems on this green earth cannot be solved by the proper application of high explosives

Do you still have the bike and are you still parting it out? I just purchased a 1995 500EN with some damage done to the exhaust and was looking to replace it. Do you know if the exhaust from a 1998 Vulcan 500EN will fit a 1995?

I still have the bike but don't think the parts will fit. You'll have to ask
someone that knows for sure. I think they changed over in 96. If you find
that you can use some parts off it, e-mail me at chfranklin@cfl.rr.com.
Thanks!
