I live about 20 miles south of Chattanooga. There are several roads in the area, both senic and curvy. when your in the area, send me a PM and we can go riding for the day or just a few hours. Fridays and saturdays are usually best for me. Closer rides are ok on most thursdays also.

That's a very generous offer and I just might have to take you up on it. We will be in Chattanooga the last week of May for my daughter's graduation from the police academy, and we will have some time for a few days of riding in the area. Of course we've been to the Dragon and Highway 28 and the Cherahola (?) Highway before, but we'd like to see the rest of the area now that we're gonna be spending more time there.

if you can wander slightly north of the Dragon, the wife and I know a few remote roads ideal for cruising. Just outside Johnson City is the Snake, another twisty mountain road. It all hinges on just how far northeast of Chattanooga you'd be willing to ride in one day.

check out Kickstand Lodge in Stecoah Gap. about 25 miles from Deals Gap.
it's a motorcycle campground with rough cabins you can even rent a tent and,
they have a bunkhouse. I go every year and it's the coolest place on earth.
if you stop in tell Mo Jimmy D sent you!
