Post Ironbutt Ride this Weekend

Daniel and I will be riding Hidalgo 2-up on a Saddlesore 2000 attempt beginning this Thursday morning. This will be my longest Ironbutt Certification attempt since I began riding long distance. We plan to cover over 1,000 miles each day of this ride so we should also get two Saddlesore 1000 certificates as well. Three certs, One ride! I *like* it!

IT IS DONE!! 2,113 miles in less than 48 hours! We're both *very* tired.

Daniel and I made it home safe. We were on the motorcycle 3 1/2 days and covered a bit over 2,500 miles. It was a good trip.

Way to go, Biker Bill!!! I clicked on your routes and they are impressive. Did all my riding in TX before moving to CO some years back...you definitely hit some sweet spots. Good trip...dang, it was better'n that. My son and I were thinking about an Iron Butt, a mere 1000 miles, and now seeing what y'all have done, maybe we can do the little Iron Butt, afterall.

Congrats, again, and Safe Travels,

Denver Vulcan
